Back from a lovely chilled break on the Bozburun Peninsula which is still relatively undeveloped...little or no apparent impact from tourism with plenty of small villages to explore and quiet coves. It's simply the perfect place to recharge your batteries. Just what the doctor ordered!

New moniker required

the strident student is no more, having graduated from the Steel City yesterday.

Maybe she could now be called the gobby graduate ;o)

I'm pleased to report that she will not be joining the ranks of the great unemployed but taking up a post on a management training scheme and joining the rest of us in 'real life'.

Going to need to apply for a new passport at this rate

Just when you think you're making some headway

some bugger pulls the rug from under your feet.

Having finally got a team together who are a good balance of skills and capabilities, then started to review the policies and process we work to in order to be more efficient and effective, those on high decided that costs needed to be cut. Ergo I am back to the all to familiar situation of having to deal with redundancies but worse, in that it's that it's with my own team :o(
