Chinese New Year, Boys Birthday & Valentines Day

so celebration required....Minor Mayhem requested a take-away Chinese banquet followed by Snickers cake to commemorate his birthday. The local Chinese were geared up for their New Year so very kindly threw in some fab Dim sum and delish Toffee Apples....completely stuffed now. Waiting for it to all settle before I can face a much needed drag with the mutt.

  1. Hi there Frosty. Just saw your link to my blog, thank you. I've been looking out for Malvern bloggers, but without much success, so it's great to finally find one. I looked through some of your recent posts and Flickr stream, so I know that you're changing job. Will you still be a Malvern blogger, though?

And the dinner sounds good too!

  2. Icyjumbo I don't know what to say. I was so shocked and saddened when I heard about your diagnosis. I wanted to put the link from my blog so others could find your wise words and observations.

Perhaps if you read back through my posts you might realise who I am perchance ;o) Ask Gillian to look at the entries on redundancies & Waitrose etc. and she will probably put 2+2 together!

All the very best with the treatment. Lots of people are thinking of you both. Keep in touch and if there's anything I can ever do to help just yell!

  3. As soon as I saw the link I had to come and see who was linking to me. Your blog was a nice little puzzle, and Gillian and I thought we ought easily to be able to work out who you are. It didn't take us long. I got it through your Flickr stream, while Gillian got it through one of your posts at about the same time.

Congratulations on your new job, by the way. I heard from Gillian that it is now official. It sounds both fun and scary, which I think must be the ideal combination for a new job. And it's an excuse to by some nice^H^H^H^H new clothes, which might be fun too :)

Thanks for the offer of help. I'll be sure to yell, I promise. I'm sure we'll bump into each other some time, probably in Waitrose. Or maybe I'll see Strident Student there instead...
